ATLANTA
DOGWOOD FESTIVAL, Atlanta, GA
April 17, 18, and 19, 2009. Forecourt of Lenox Square, conveniently located
in Buckhead Hundreds
of top-notch Atlanta Dogwood Festival artists will bring their masterpieces to
Atlanta this spring. This year, the festival will host more artists than in any
previous year. The Atlanta Dogwood festival was originally started by Walter Rich,
the founder of Rich’s department store to lift people out of the doldrums of the
depression. The festival has spent the last 71 years lifting the spirits of the

IN THE PARK, Richmond, VA
May 2nd, 11-6 p.m. and May 3rd, 11-5 p.m., 2009. Carillon in Byrd Park Arts
in the Park is a nationally-rated, juried art show which offers the opportunity
for you to see and purchase fine and original work produced by top-quality artists
and crafts people from Virginia and throughout the United States.The Carillon
Civic Association will hold its 38th annual "Arts in the Park" show
and sale at the Carillon in Byrd Park. More than 450 artists from around the U.S.
will gather in Byrd Park to display everything from fine art paintings to jewelry
and weavings. Arts in the Park is recognized as one of the top art shows in the
country and is an event people around the entire state of Virginia look forward

p.m., 2009 Stockley Gardens Park in the Ghent section of Norfolk
For
more than 20 years, Hope House has been the vision behind the Stockley Gardens
Arts Festival. Each year more than 25,000 people flock to Stockley Gardens in
Norfolk's historic Ghent neighborhood to browse through jewelry, pottery, paintings,
and other works of art. Approximately 150 artists exhibit a wide variety of media,
including painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, and photography. Click

This year featuring over 275 Juried Artists and Craftsmen from across the United

ANNUAL SIDEWALK ART SHOW, Roanoke, VA May 30th and May 31st. 2009 Market
Street and Salem Avenue, Downtown, Roanoke. Every
year, since 1958, the Art Museum of Western Virginia has held a sidewalk art show
to celebrate and support the creation of original fine art as well as provide
funds for the Art Museum's education and outreach programs. This year's 51st art
show celebrates the fine art of painting, watercolor, mixed media, sculptural
art, drawing/ original printmaking and fine crafts. Come enjoy a weekend of art
with artists from up and down the east coast!

The
2009 Festival will include the Artists Market, live outdoor concerts, family-friendly
events and visual arts. The Three Rivers Arts Festival remains the largest and
longest free cultural event in Pittsburgh, and is one of the longest multidisciplinary
arts festivals in the United States. Because the Festival is a destination event,

11th and 12th, 2009 University Park campus of Penn State, State College. The
Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts will bring over 125,000 people to downtown
State College and the University Park campus of Penn State to celebrate the arts
with its nationally recognized Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition, gallery exhibition,
Sand Sculpture and music, dance and theatrical performances in a variety of traditional

2008 show features work by more than 90 artists working in media such as oils,
